Do you think the Seattle Mariners will cut Ken Griffey Jr. soon? He is 40 years old, batting .200 with zero?

Hr's and 5 rbi's. Not exactly power numbers. Griffey fell asleep in the clubhouse the other night, and the manager was unable to use him to pinch-hit. This is a disgrace, Griffey should've retired during the off-season. He's shot, he's injured and all banged up, he's out of shape and he just doesn't have it anymore. It's hard to imagine that "The Kid" is now 40. Why would he want to fade away and have a crappy year. The Mariners should do this guy a favor and release him now. This is saying a lot from me because I am a diehard M's fan and have lived in the Seattle area for 18 years. It's just sad to see him go out like this, but the M's have to do it. He is a big waste. He went 0-3 tonite.
