Australians have you heard of the "baby drop centres"????

There has been alot of talk on the news about the mother that left her baby at the bus stop in shepparton...and today on the news i heard that they are thinking about opening "baby drop centres" where mother who have unwanted babies can leave them....what are your thoughts???? I know that it is better than leaving a baby on the side of a road or in a dumpster but it just doesnt sit well with me for some reason.......
