Is it weird to be fascinated with serial killers?

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by serial killers. I have bought doentaries about serial killers and love to research them. My favorite serial killer is Herman Webster Mudgett (H.H. Holmes) because he killed hundreds of people without ever even being suspected as a killer. I am a criminal justice major in university and there is a cl devoted to the subject of serial killers and you can even write a serial killer letters as an ignment, I am dying to take that cl. When the show Criminal Minds came out I was ecstatic and was obsessed with watching it. Is it weird to be this fascinated with serial killers? Why am I fascinated with serial killers?
