Where are some good inexpensive to mid-priced places to eat on the strip in Las Vegas?

We are looking for buffets, diners, steakhouses, etc. We would like to find buffets $20 or under, diners where a couple can eat for around $30, and steakhouses where a couple can eat for around $60. If it is very good, we are willing to pay a little bit more, but still have to watch our budget. We will be going to the Venetian to see Blue Man Group, and to Ballys to see The Price Is Right, so anything at or near these properties would be helpful, but anywhere on the strip woud be appreciated. We will be first timers to vegas, so any known freebies given to new slot members would be helpful in planning our food budget.
