Is it me? or are schools, (teachers) becoming nosier?

Just wanted to know if anyone else feels this way, and your thoughts on it. I feel that the teachers are getting to nosey about what goes on in the students family life. Wanting to know to personal of things. They should be more concerned about teaching, instead of drilling children about their parents personal things.
