A little help from any aussies' out there?

I'm travelling to australia this year in a few weeks to be exact.i'll be spending a year there travelling and working however i'm thinking of having some cosmetic surgery while i'm there(random question i know) i was just wondering if i can actually do it because i'm not a citizen, haven't got any insurance only travellers insurance,its not booked or anything. of course i don't want help paying for it r anything.anyway thanks for helping
